About

Chicken Barn Live is a film and entertainment blog owned and operated by Dalton Cooper. Dalton’s love and passion for all things movie related led him to become a film critic for The Underground, a student run publication at Pennsylvania State University. After leaving the publication, Dalton decided to start his own site for his movie reviews and industry related editorials.

Dalton is a graduate of Texas Tech University, and has aspirations of earning a graduate degree in Film and Media Studies. While attending Texas Tech, Dalton discovered his love of film and the art of film production. Dalton is also a musician, playing lead guitar for the rock band Downtown City Radio for two years. While he was in the band, Dalton wrote the script for the music video for the song “50/50”. Dalton wrote and performed on the “Hazy Nights” and “Real American” EPs, as well as the “My Line (10-56)” single. He has written and directed his own short film, “Hell’s Gate”, and has a independent film production company called “Thunder-Jackson Productions” with his fellow film junkie, Will Jackson. Dalton is assisted by his barn cat, Mitch
